Not far from the Annex is, The Royal Oak Pub that serves delicious, high quality food all day.

Half a mile away the Earl of March pub is equally popular and enjoys wonderful views up to Trundle Hill.

The Goodwood estate is an historical landmark and is famous for its exciting horse racing, considered by many to the most beautiful racecourse setting in the world. The beautiful stately home has existed for the last 300 years and has been designed with excellence in mind. Souters Cottage / Annexe is only a "three minute" drive from this famous attraction

In addition the internationally renowned Goodwood Festival Of Speed is held in the summer and Goodwood Revival events where classic cars from the golden years are celebrated.

Also available to the public is Goodwood house the home of the Duchess of Richmond and Gordon. Where you can explore the grounds and visit the farm.

Also in the area is Weald & Downland open air museum a historical site that the whole family will enjoy and the West Dean art & conservation College that has regular open days
